Costruito sul sito di un palazzo rinascimentale, i Congregados Convento ottenere l'autorizzazione D. Pedro II per la sua costruzione nel 1697. Il loro progetto, assegnato a João Antunes, lo stesso autore della chiesa di Santa Engracia a Lisbona, è una delle esempi che riflettono l'influenza italiana nel barocco portoghese del XVI secolo.
Situato a Santo André, Estremoz.
Notato l'importanza e la buona caratteristica artistica dei pannelli di piastrelle ordinanza e pareti che accompagnano le scale fino al primo piano del convento, attribuita alla scuola di Bernardes.
