Dating from the 1970s, this hotel has been recently updated to include many modern conveniences to make your stay more relaxing. During the summer you can take a dip in the village’s outdoor swimming pool, stroll through the hotel gardens or simply relax on the terrace.
In the evening you can try the home-made local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and go up to admire the impressive panoramic views from the hotel’s terrace on the third floor. The town of Maçanet de Cabrenys is one of the most extensive towns from the Alt Empordà area. Placed in a valley, but not far from the seaside, the highest points of the area are exactly in the north of the village (1,445 metres). You will find a great landscape with magnificent views, plenty of culture and heritage that you can discover by mountain bike, by hiking, biking or with your car. It is a medieval town, with characteristic long and winding roads. Please note, the hotel recommends that that guests arriving bar car should avoid the route through La Vajol which has numerous winding mountain roads.
