On August 9, 1974, by Decree No. 808, the beautiful building was declared a National Monument.
The Santiago Municipal Theater has three stable bodies, the Santiago Philharmonic Orchestra, the Santiago Ballet and the Municipal Theater Choir, as well as painting, costumes, scenery, lighting and sound workshops, among others.
The greatest artists of all time paraded on stage.
