The town of Pinhão is one of the central points - if not the center - of the Douro Demarcated Region. It was from here that almost all the Port came out (and leaves). In the old days, the kites were set out on rabelos boats, and then in wagons, from the train station, towards the wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Bridge: completed in 1906, consists of a metal tray and three branches with spans of 68.7m.
