Situated at the top of Mount Mitake, Shukubo Komadori-Sanso offers serene accommodation with the great views of mountains. Guest rooms are fitted with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. Mitake Shrine is a 7-minute walk away. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
The rooms come with a small TV, a personal safe and a heater. An electric kettle and a fridge are also provided. Bathroom and toilet are shared.
Komadori-Sanso offers luggage storage services. Guests can unwind in public baths that are made from fragrant cypress wood. The owner of the property can take guests to a waterfall nearby for the training in the morning, where they sit under the falling water (charges apply).
The Shukubo is a 10 minute bus ride and a 5-minute cable car ride away from JR Mitake Train Station. A chargeable pick-up service is offered after the cable car stops running at 18:30.
Dinner meals using local ingredients are served. Japanese or Western breakfast can be enjoyed in the morning (reservation required to have Western breakfast).
