Uno House offers Japanese-style rooms, a free-use internet PC and bicycle rentals, only a 2-minute walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace. Some rooms have a private bathroom and a kitchenette. Marutamachi Subway Station is a 12-minute walk away.
Rooms have a carpeted or tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which guests sleep in traditional futon bedding. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with an LCD TV and an electric kettle with complimentary green tea and instant coffee.
The guest house has a shared lounge and a dining area. No meals are served. There are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and a supermarket is a 3-minute walk away.
From Uno House it takes 11 minutes to the Shijo area, and 14 minutes to the Heian Jingu Shrine, by public bus.
