On the Brighton and Hove seafront, The Gather Inn is a fun place to eat, drink and stay. The property is located just 2 miles from Brighton city centre and overlooks Hove lagoon. The Gather Inn benefits from limited free on-street parking in surrounding roads.
There are 15 rooms, 11 of which are en-suite. All rooms have a plasma TV with Freeview channels and tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms are booked on a room-only basis, but breakfast can be purchased from the breakfast/brunch menu. The menu offers a good selection of options, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.
The Gather Inn also has 2 bars. The Sea View Bar with restaurant is located on the top level, offering views over the lagoon and seafront. On the lower level you will find the Patio Bar, which is open in the warmer months. The Patio Bar features a raised dining area with views across the lagoon, an outdoor patio area, plasma TVs and a children’s seating area with games.
At the Gather Inn you will find locally sourced, homemade food with many options on the menu. The bars offer a selection of wines, cocktails, real ales, craft beers, lagers and ciders. Guests benefit from various special offers and discounts.
Brighton Train Station is a 12-minute drive from The Gather Inn. Brighton Pier can be reached in 30 minutes by public transport. The Blue Lagoon Bar and B&B is situated on Hove seafront, overlooking the Hove Lagoon. Brighton city centre and all of the local attractions, such as the Royal Pavilion, the Lanes and the Brighton Pier are all within 2 miles (3.2 km). The nearest train station is Portslade, which is just 15 minutes’ walk away. The Blue Lagoon is a great place to eat, drink and stay in Brighton and Hove, with everything you need under one roof. The Seaview Bar has a delicious new menu and wine list. Enjoy curry nights, Sunday roasts, quiz nights, live entertainment, cocktail nights and weekly karaoke nights. The sports bar is more lively, with 4 plasma screens, 2 pool tables, darts and poker.
The enclosed patio area comes complete with heated smoking shelter and, when the weather is fine, is a lovely place to sit for over 50 people. The patio leads off the sports bar, in the downstairs area of the pub.
Free parking is available in the roads opposite the bed and breakfast.
