Extensive beach and easy access, the beach of the Boldró owes its name to the fort that is in the cliff above the beach which was located in the hill of Pico that the American soldiers during the second war called of Bold Rock.

This beach is highly sought after by surfers because its waves are great for surfing due to a submerged slab that maintains the shape of the wave.

During the surf season, the waves reach 5 meters.

The beach has a support bar and at the top of the hill has the restaurant Mirante do Boldró.
