The Miradouros Trail, an ecological and landscaped small route (PR) pedestrian path, has a length of approximately 9 km. It is estimated that the time required to travel is 5 hours, and the degree of difficulty is attributed to medium to high, with very rugged reliefs in areas of crest and plateau, steep slopes and tight valleys, hence some of the places of the route require the pedestrian to take special care. Its layout is located almost exclusively on the west slope of the Gerês River valley. Its most extreme limits, east and west, are respectively the village of Caldas do Gerês, the plateau areas in Lamas and the curves of S. Bento.



On the Mirador Trail, you can visit many of the 'granite heads' the viewpoints of the Serra do Gerês - story lines, highlighting Fraga Negra, the Doll, the Old and New Lookouts and Penedo da Freira. From these places you can see a landscape horizon of unparalleled natural beauty.
