The museum has a collection that includes paintings, sculptures, furniture, ceramics and various representative objects of Spain from the 16th and 17th centuries, primarily, although there are also medieval and early 20th century works. This collection was formed by the Hispanist and Argentine writer Enrique Larreta who, with the advice of Arch. Martín Noel, gave Spanish character to an old country house in the Belgrano neighborhood, transforming it into a stately example of ´´neocolonial´´ architecture in his exterior, surrounded by an Andalusian garden of seven thousand square meters.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 8pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 8pm.
